Hi! I am Manuela Rondón,

As a kid, I used to play at my aunt's backyard beauty contest with all my neighbors, where every girl had a crown. I used to give free concerts in the kitchen every other night and read stories before I could even read, just by looking at the pictures in the books. 


I used to make the clothes of my Barbies at my mom's boutique and later designed my own garments as a teenager. At the age of thirteen, I wrote a book for my English class, and another one these days for my six-year-old niece about how to love her afro hair.
Today, I still love styling, music, and telling stories.


Telling stories brought me to many different cultures, friends, and worlds, and has given me a career. 


A film that raised awareness about domestic violence granted me the opportunity to fly to Europe (Cannes Festival/Young Lions) for the first time and it captured my heart. 

Later I decided to study at Miami Ad School Berlin and had the chance to work in Tokyo, Madrid, London, Hamburg, and Berlin, this last one became my home for the time being. 

In terms of language proficiency, I am a native Spanish speaker from the Dominican Republic, and I don't dare to say I am a native English speaker, but very close, due to 7 years of work experience in the language. I am also actively learning German and am currently at a B1 level.

As a Copywriter, I am passionate about creating strong concepts, incorporating music and art, and adding style to my work. I hope my experience and passion align with what you are looking for in a team member.
